Dr. A.T. Stewart has been in ministry for over 30 years. He has served churches in Kentucky, Florida, Alabama, and Georgia. Dr. Stewart graudated from Belhaven College in Jackson, MS in 1973 with a B.A. in Bible. He continued his education at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Lousiville, KY earning his Master of Divinity in Theology in 1975 and the Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching in 2006. Dr. Stewart's theological beliefs have been shaped by his conviction of the inerrancy of Scripture and the truthfulness of the Doctrines of Grace.
Dr. Stewart is deeply committed to the family. He has been married for 34 years to Teri and they have six children and three grandchildren. A major part of his ministry through the years has been devoted to helping build strong families on God's Word. Dr. Stewart believes in order for families to survive the 21st Century they need to return to God's design as given in the Bible. Men must be the servant leaders God has called them to be, loving their wives as Christ loves the church. Women must retake their God-given roles as their husband's submissive helper submitting to their husbands as unto the Lord. Children must be taught to honor and obey their parents so they will grow up to love and obey their heavenly Father.
Dr. Stewart is also deeply committed to Biblical preaching. He is a gifted preacher and teacher of God's Word. God has gifted him with the ability to make the Word of God clear and relevant to the average person. He seeks to explain God's Word in a way that results in the voice of God being heard, the glory of God being seen, and the will of God being obeyed.
